SAP Plans to control Mobile Apps with HTML5 and announce New Partnerships

One of the largest software companies in the world just ended a series of moves that could make one of the most powerful mobile developer’s enterprises in the world. SAP's Hana database announced that the company signed three strategic partnerships with leading U.S. mobile development firms.

SAP announced partnerships with Appcelerator, Adobe and Sencha to create any type of mobile presence that an enterprise might wish. From native to cross apps or mobile websites, SAP may have put itself in position to be the end-to-end development platform that enterprises are looking for.

HTML5 as the Enterprise
Enterprise mobile development and consumer counterparts both are different. The objectives of enterprise is more to work on functionality and less to do with mobile device performance, where Consumer app development aim is on games and location, testing how well an app can perform within the bounds of a mobile device's hardware.

New Partnerships

Adobe's PhoneGap, Sencha Touch and the SDK from Appcelerator are the leading frameworks provider for application development. They boast more than a million developers who use the platforms and enable to develop any type of mobile apps.
