The BlackBerry PlayBook is a tablet computer made by RIM. It is the first device to run BlackBerry Tablet OS, based on QNX Neutrino, and runs apps developed using Adobe AIR. It was later announced that the BlackBerry Tablet OS would be merged with the existing BlackBerry OS to produce a new operating system, BBX that would be used universally across RIM's product line.

Message Formatting - It was a little strange that you were not able to type in Bold on a Bold. But with new playbook OS 2.0 you can format your messages with bold, Italic etc.

The Remote feature not only allows you to watch video and play music from your TV but it also integrates with PowerPoint which turns your SmartPhone into PowerPoint clickers. Another feature of the Remote is using the BlackBerry keyboard. With this feature you can take the power of a BlackBerry keyboard to the PlayBook and bang-out emails at the higher speed.
